Privacy Policy on the Protection of Personal Data of Website Visitors

As Solvonet (the “Company”), we act in the capacity of data controller pursuant to the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”). This Privacy Policy has been prepared to explain the scope within which the personal data of individuals visiting our website (the “Website”) is processed and protected, as well as your rights concerning such data. By using the Website, you are deemed to have been informed about the practices described in this policy.

Personal Data Processed

Data such as your name, surname, telephone number, e-mail address and the company you work for or represent, which you submit to us through the contact and request forms on the Website, are processed. In addition, technical data such as IP address, browser and device information, and log records collected through cookies and similar technologies in relation to the use of the Website may also be processed.

Purposes of Processing Personal Data

Your personal data is processed on the legal grounds set out in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK, namely: being directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract, being mandatory for the Company to fulfil its legal obligation, being mandatory for the legitimate interests of the Company provided that it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms, and the existence of your explicit consent where necessary.

Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data may be shared, only to the extent necessary to fulfil the purposes stated above, with authorised public institutions and organisations within the scope of legal obligations and with our suppliers providing services on behalf of the Company (such as hosting, infrastructure and technical support). Beyond this, your data is not shared with, sold to, or transferred to third parties for marketing purposes.

Retention Period

Your personal data is retained for the period required by the purpose of processing and by taking into account the statutory limitation and retention periods prescribed in the relevant legislation. When the purpose ceases to exist and the legal retention periods expire, your data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

Rights of the Data Subject (KVKK Art. 11)

As the data subject, you have the following rights pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK:

  • To learn whether your personal data is being processed,
  • To request information if your personal data has been processed,
  • To learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose,
  • To know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom your personal data is transferred,
  • To request the correction of your personal data if it has been processed incompletely or inaccurately,
  • To request the deletion or destruction of your personal data within the conditions prescribed by the KVKK,
  • To request that correction, deletion and destruction operations be notified to third parties to whom the data has been transferred,
  • To object to the emergence of a result against you as a consequence of the analysis of the processed data exclusively through automated systems,
  • To claim compensation for the damage if you suffer loss due to the unlawful processing of your personal data.
